Part Two - In Our Image - How Old is the Celestial Body

       The book of Job extends from a group of spoken lessons taught by the Sages, of whom Job was a member. One of the hallmarks of the Sages teaching techniques were the use of parables, “Job 27:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,”, probable as a tool to keep the audience’s attention so that the deeper meaning would not be lost to the student. The oldest fragments of the book of Job, and the oldest fragments of the book of Genesis date for the same time period, the fifth or sixth century B.C. With and approximate date for the life of Job, himself, to be somewhere around two thousand B.C. It is Mosses that brings the Tora down from the mountain of Sini after a forty-day sabbatical with God in the book of Exodus. This event gives us the first section of our modern bible, the Law. The books of the Profits forming the second section, and finally the Ketuvim (Writings) which contains the books of Job, Proverbs, Psalms, and the two books of Chronicles. This forms the entirety of the Old Testament biblical cannon.

      The chastisement of Job, beginning in chapter thirty-eight, is amazing in the fact that one on hand it is a tail of the ancient Earths past. This requires a solid scientific understanding of the formation of the Earth and some of the processes with in it. However, on the other hand, it outlines the appearance of the Messiah, as well as the resurrection and the Second Advent. The focus shifts back to scientific understanding in the description of Behemoth (H929) in chapter forty. Here you find an unspoiled description of a quadrupedal herbivore known as Brontosaurus. This is a genus of gigantic quadruped sauropod that lived 157.3 million years ago - 145 million years ago.

Job 38:4  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Job 38:5  Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

Job 38:7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Job 38:8  Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
Job 38:9  When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
Job 38:10  And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
